my Fortune 500, over 100 year old company just posted a RECORD YEAR as did every other major carrier in the RR industry. think about that, if you will. they NEVER MADE SO MUCH MONEY.BTW some economic analysts say railroads are great economic indicators. have you looked at the DOW lately? Yes the DOW well off record highs, watching the redneck race in Bristol the stands are about 30% empty and in 08 they were jammed packed, this is an event that many can afford, gas is approaching $4 a gallon, seems Americans are worried regardless of how you feel, those were real Americans doing the poll, you want to get your input in call and be part of the poll

saw an article in the paper the other day stating we have RECORD gridlock in the nation's cities & it's partly attributable to the economy. face it, more people are getting out & about because things are better. the signs are all around us.

ANY small business better have a 60% GROSS profit margin for the owner, right off the bat, unless you are paying 1st comm'l store rent turning trash in competition with all the other China sources....

It's all in the control....purchasing is MOST important, learned THAT one over 40 years ago....assuming retail....

in construction, you concerned about material costs if your last name if Leavitt building Leavittowns .....or Turner.....

but if you doing custom jobs.....maybe to a certain extent, but it's not like a totally over riding concern....

What are we building? It sure is not new homes, they are still in the dump, lots of foreclosures still in the San Antonio area, more in our neighbor hood now than ever, but moving goods is what it is all about
