Speaking of which, how old were you/your kids/grandkids when they learned to swim?

I went to “baby classes” with my oldest son. He took swimming lessons the month he turned 5. My youngest son cried and begged to stay so the instructor told me to wait outside and she would see how he did. He went the entire 2 weeks. He was almost 3. They went the next year too. My grand is 20 months old. He was taking “swim kid” lessons before the shutdown. Never to early to learn to flip over and float and to hold on to the side and climb out.

I was probably four. We were always at the lake. So I learned fairly young.

I agree. We started the oldest grand at a few month old, but she didn't master the float. We have a pool so it's always a concern and we are UBER careful!!!
