It was summer-like here until about week ago ... usually it's cold-azz beginning in mid-september all the way to March ...

Being a California-boy (Sacramento) this kind of cold weather is only tolerable for me when skiing Tahoe ... otherwise I'm mainly a Southern Cal surfer type (San Diego) ...

Here's the weird part .. where I live here in North Alabama is on the same latitude as San Diego or Northern-most Tropical ... so I dunno ... just like you and Tink don't know ...

I'm only an algorian because it suits my *California social-lib* mentality ... yes we like our reciprocating engines in harmony with nature ... not a problem for us with regards to what the rest of the country thinks about us ...
