Default Doorbell just rang.
Not quite dark but getting there. Anytime the doorbell rings after dark and I am not expecting someone it is time to grab one of my friends on the way to the door.
Picked up the 9mm I keep stashed near the front door and look out the small window at the top of the door.
Two young women, very modestly dressed holding bibles. Put the gun behind my back and opened the door.
They are LDS and very polite and pleasant. Told them I was not interested and wished them a good evening. I live in a decent neighborhood but it was like WTF...how are you getting back to wherever you are staying. Like I said, it was already getting dark.

When did they start sending young women out like this?

Back about 40 years ago, I moved to Little Rock to get my first divorce and live with my cousin....well I had saved up some 1500 bux in 100 dollar bills, money went into a local bank....Who alerted the cops, and so this attractive Kirby vac cleaner sales chick shows up at my cousin's door.....we had a few dates, and so she was a bit stand off ish.....call it officially pleasant, even over at her place.....she attended some parties at my cousin's place, and so found nothing....no drugs, nothing illegal.....

I"m dead sure she was undercover cop.....

Last time I had an LDS at my door, first thing they asked was if I always answered the door holding a pistol.
I told them nope......sometimes it's a pump shotgun.
