It’s not me I’m worried about, it’s all the other careless fks. They’re out there aplenty.

Oh, I'm very cautious. I've had 3 really bad viral pneumonias. After the last one, the Doc said I had "visible scarring" in my lungs from them, and recommended that I not get another one. Thanks for the useless rec doc.

Anyway, no one I know is taking more precautions than I have been, yesterday's store trip was the second time I left my property in my truck in 9 days. I still run in the neighborhood, and take my dog for walks though.

Taking precautions, especially if you are high risk, isn't fear, it's sensible. I don't do panic or drama so I'll go out to get the stuff we need and use, and that's it. The only time I have strayed from that in 3+ weeks was when my wife demanded I get Tylenol when we really didn't need it. I had to drive around for a while to find it. I didn't love that, but some times ya gotta do . . .

One person to a cart (except for couples), tee times 12 minutes apart instead of 8, clubhouse is closed, practice tees are farther apart, carry your own bag to/from cart, leave pins in and they put pieces of foam in the cups so the ball doesn’t drop in.

Picked up Tylenol Thursday. Or at least the Wally store brand equivalent. Plenty of that, not as much with the name brand.

Got beer while I was out. Gotta have the essentials.

Shoulda got rubber bands so I could make masks for the hood. Didn’t know at the time.

That's why you go at 7am on a week day not the weekend, I wouldn't go on weekend for the foreseeable future. Hell I've haven't been out on weekend since this started.

Getting ready to host our third Coronavirus Cocktails in the Driveway. Small group of neighbors come over. People bring their own drinks and chairs, we spread out across a double driveway and enjoy adult beverages and conversation while keeping the six foot rule in place. 🥃🍺🍷

I claim to have not "hoarded" anything. However, there are some unsubstantiated rumors that I might have a large amount of beer and wine stashed here in my house. I have no idea how that started, and can assure you that such rumors are completely unsubstantiated.

The neighbor behind me had that going earlier in the afternoon as I went by finishing my run. He encouraged me and my wife to join them, but the timing didn't work out. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day, so a couple of guys and I are planning on having some beers on my deck. Plenty big enough for 4-6 folks to hang out without getting anywhere near each other.

I just got home from the office. The first thing I did when I got home was to get an ice cold Sam Adams Boston Lager to quench my thirst. A good scotch will follow immediately after the beer.

Wife just went out to the freezer in the shed and did an inventory. Just before this whole mess started, one of our grocery stores had their annual meat sale. Pretty much all types of meat but packaged in large quantities with prices about half of usual. We bought about $200 worth.

Chicken breasts, pork sirloin roasts, tri-tip steaks, ground beef, shrimp, corned beef, etc. At least with meat, we should be good for awhile. My wife has also always believed in a well stocked pantry and spice rack at all times. We're having fun trying new recipes. We have pretty much any spice we need for most recipes. A couple days ago we did some beef short ribs in the crock pot with an Asian sauce. That one we will do again.
