Never did rain more than a spritz Mike. Damn.
Mower starter broke a magnet piece off and jammed the starter. So wasted a couple hrs dorking with it to get it running again so the kid could finish mowing. Lost a deck wheel and starter clip broke off and starter parts were laying about before he finished up. I should have stayed in bed today.

Morning everyone, time to fix the mower starter and finish up supports for its canopy(wife decided to rip it slap off when I was gone). Way too hot here not to have a shade canopy on a mower with all this to mow. Motor about to go bang but have an almost new waiting to go on. That mower has been abused for 15 years now, just milking along until find a zero turn. Hopefully it'll rain today as new trees need it badly.

Aww, thanks! Be careful in that heat. Gonna be triple digits here all week and STILL NO rain in sight. I get up at 6 am and water just to keep my plants alive. My little frog hunter is my helper. We have a huge frog that lives in our pool. He eats bugs so we let him stay but Bogey hopes one day to catch him. The picture is the frog in the deep end, bigger than it appears.

I had a craftsman tractor for about 10 years. I had to weld the front axle back together on that thing at least twice. Weld the mower deck a few times. The engine ran forever on it. Got a zero turn now, much better than the tractor style.

Fixed the starter on the mower, put frt supports for canopy(bent some 3/4 emt and welded some bushing on) and changed out the steering bushings. Put the old bushings back in I changed a couple of years ago. Plastic bushings are a joke.
