Post up your fireworks pics
I thought I would start a fireworks thread. Please post up your 4th of July shots.
These were all shot on 'bulb' with a remote release. ISO 100, f16-18. Most of my exposures from 5 or 6 seconds to over 30 seconds. All were taken with a Canon 7d with a 24-105L. These were all shot raw and processed in Lightroom 3.

Nice. I didn't get out this year. When you gotta get up @ 3:00 am, shooting fireworks is out of the question.

Yamma: I used a remote release on "B". ISO 100, and most of the shots were taken at f16. I think a few were at f18 or so. Most of the exposures were at least 5 or 6 seconds with some being over 30. |

I have never been satisfied with my previous film attempts, but in 2011 I used a little digital hand held Nikon with the fireworks app and captured these - hand held - because I forgot the tripod! 4 secs, f16 and ISO80 were the settings selected.
