Don't rank on the Forester. It has the easiest front or rear ingress and egress of any SUV we test sat. Important when all the parental units are in their 80s, and my fat crippled ass fits nicely as well. Our 2016 has been absolutely trouble free over 37000 miles so far; we haven't even paid for an oil change yet although next time is on us. Damned thing averages 30-32 MPG on the road no matter how loaded it is. My only complaint is the front seat bottoms are a tad narrow for my wide chassis.

Outside looks nice. My sister swears by her Subaru, but I'm not thrilled with the interior.
