Also, to add, I was never banned from CF. Never had any real problems over there, I behaved myself for the most part. I just left, a bit too juvenile.

I received a PM in CF saying "You've been summoned" back in 2011. I didn't know this place existed.

It's much better there's no doubt. And the activity has been great this week. The problem lies when people go back and ignore the Barn only to return when they're banned again.

I'm guilty of this as well. You get addicted to the business of the place. If we keep it busy in the Barn, most would stay or post at both spots.

Hopefully, they keep the Bar Ban on which will drive those regulars right here.

It's a strange phenomenon. Ever hear that saying "No one ever goes there because it's too crowded" ? The Barn is kind of the opposite. People don't hang here because there isn't enough activity. I can tell you if I am logged in to one, I am logged in to both. I always check for new posts in the Barn. It's kind of depressing when a whole day seems to go by without a post.

I think it was Sandy that told me about this place. I actually was marginally aware of it, but never joined until one of the sweeping ban hammer episodes put some familiar screen names here.

It's a lot more personal. Kinder, gentler...unless you suck at "humaning". Then you aren't going to be happy no matter where you go.

If everyone would just add a tab to their browser it's not difficult to bounce back and forth. The bar thread is what kept me at CF. I've been chatting with the same clowns for years now

For someone obsessed with the color yellow, you do have some sense. Egnalf kept a tab open while working daily. My business can be highly stressful for short bursts, and OT had a way of making it easy to move away from the stress and just deck off for a few seconds. Most don't get my dry commentary but it doesn't matter as it amused me and that is all that really matters.
