How bad is this stuff? Or how good is it? I saw it advertised and decided to pick up a bottle. The bags are cool. Haven't tasted the stuff yet.

Bottle says made in Canada. When I think of Texas booze, Canada isn't the first thing to come to mind. Maybe some Tito's (made in Austin), but not Canada.

A contemporary of Crown Royal sold only in Texas.

Do you shoot pool ? If you do, I have a table. As long as you are not good at it, you're welcome to come over !

One of the guys in the band texted me that he tried it and said it has a very sweet after taste. That's good for shooting (to me) but for mixing, it would need something to kick that down a bit.

Let me get with my "manager" (wife) and see what I can schedule.

Can't be this coming weekend. I have a gig, but let me see what's up. I suck at pool, but like to play. I have a firepit on the back patio that can be fired up if it's cold. Whiskey, beer, pool, ...sounds good.

PM me if you are in so I can get a head count.

I'm in Cypress, near Berry Center as a point of reference.

Who makes that stuff? If it Seagram's, then it's probably very similar to Royal Crown, if it's not, it's someone trying to rip off the name and bottle.

OP, I'm sensing a meet n greet opportunity. Why not put together an afternoon get together at a venue where BYOB is allowed, or just come up with a lunch or dinner run where "sampling" can be done in the parking lot?

My last forum "social" was with that, um, other place.

There's a little Italian pizza place that is BYOB that's not far from my house. Decent sized parking lot and you can see the cars from the front window.

I have had problems getting a free weekend between gigs and prepping for my In-laws 50th, it's been tight. I'll keep trying and will post or PM details.



My plan was just to have a few people come over. Shoot pool, drink, sit out back on the patio.
