One of my sons has my old OnePlus phone right now. Android’s parental controls are vastly superior to Apple’s. When I open Google maps on my iPhone I can see right where he is.

Android "Meet" is same as Apple "face time" and works on iphones but facetime does not work on android.
We used to use it with our son.....we were unable to get into his phone after he died and it's locked keeping many memories and photos from being seen
Even after showing apple death certificate.....nothing.

Android... It's just a stripped down Linux and that's a stripped down Unix and I used that for many years prior to any Android devices.
I taught myself the file structure and databases so I could manipulate stuff.
