Am I the only one who misses STS here? I suspect I may be. Just wondering if he had any other fans.

I noticed the discounts on RV's are now deep. Some who bought at the peak and want to sell are going to lose their asses.

Yes, market is back to precovid levels with a whole batch of folk who bought at the top of market and got shitty covid coaches at that. Dealers are starting to shit themselves with full inventory and interest rates that are at least double and who knows what floor plans cost went to. Greedy fux are about to meet Mr karma

We’ve got a Renegade but we are growing out of it and need to go back to a bus but sticking with 2019 and 2020 models .

About a 50 mile radius around Albany NY there are literally thousands of Motor Homes and trailers at the many dealer lots..(Year around) They have them from entry level up to kings ransom prices. Either they replace the one sold fast or best bet there not selling many at all because the lots are always full of product. I live on a lake in what is considered a vacation area! To be honest I wonder why many of these dealers are still in business! FWIW boats seem to be selling well!

I got lucky with our little travel trailer. It cost me 6K for about 30 nights use. I let the dealer sell it for me. I could see the writing on the wall.

Funny but I ordered the unit in spring of 2021 with a discount. It arrived in October 2021 and the dealer told me he could sell it for MSRP and split the difference. Although I believe he was tongue-in-cheek...I should have taken that deal.

I keep waiting for the economy to implode due to Brandonflation and the disastrous policies that are causing it, but as of yet, I don't see it, and I really don't understand why the economy has not crashed. How are people seemingly affording their pre-Brandon lifestyles? Restaurants around here are full all the time. Traffic is horrendous, a sign of a decent economy. And I don't see car sales plummeting, at least in Houston. Perhaps the rest of the country is differently situated?

I can tell you that the real estate market has softened.

Here, too, purportedly, but I'm expecting a 2009 level crash. The policies of Brandon have been, if possible, worse than HW Bush's economic policies. Only back then they were propping the economy up with mortgages to anyone who could or could not steam a mirror, now Brandon is propping it up with student loan deferments and proposed elimination of said loans. Lots of places had moratoriums on evictions, but I think that's over with now and we still don't see an abundance of foreclosures and evictions. Like I said, I just don't get it.

Where is the crash? The root causes of a crash are here, now.

I think we're just not hearing about it...

Evictions, foreclosures are way up,. Next up is credit card defaults as that's what people are living on now to maintain the caviar lifestyle on McDonald's money.
There was an article that retirement savings are way down for some groups. Perhaps they're using that money to maintain?
Wife needs a new(er) car but I'm not paying what they're asking, I'll continue to fix the current one.

I agree, glad we reached our goals and retired in 2021. I would hate to be trying to prepare for retirement today, don't see that happening for many people in the next decade or so.
