Default Rear sway bar?

A while back, I installed a Pfadt rear sway bar. I have it set on the middle setting which is what almost everyone running it has recommended for street use when using a stock front bar.

Unfortunately, I don't get an easy feeling when pushing the car hard. It's almost like the ass end is unstable. To me, this makes me thing maybe the endlinks are binding in corners, but I've triple checked through the suspension range that there is no binding. It just feels twitchy while turning. Front end feels ridiculously planted and stable, but not the back. I'm running DRM Bilsteins at all 4 corners. I'm starting to think that I either need to go back to the OEM rear bar (which I can't seem to find, so that's fun), or finally install the Pfadt front bar. I hesitate to do that considering the front end feels great with the OEM bar. I run the risk of ruining the front ends handling.

Thoughts? Any of you have experience with sway bar tuning?

Not much, just 2 or 3 cars that I have made those type of modifications. But I do know that the front and rear work in tandem, because of the rigidity of the chassis. Best to go with the manufacturer's recommendations and install a matched set. Check with Pfadt, read their install instructions and tuning recommendations.

I think my tie rod ends could also be on their way out. Almost 60K miles on the clock, it makes sense. Maybe time for an upgrade to heims with bumpsteer capability...

So, I found a used LG swaybar with endlinks and bushings. Got here today. I'm going to give it a dance and see how it does.

A little more info needed to give advise. What year is the car?
Is it a BB or SB?
If it is a midyear small block they did not have a rear sway bar from the factory. If this is the case remove it and stop trying to second guess/re-engingeer the professional original factory engineers that knew what they were doing and had professional test tracks for testing these things.

This is a 2006 ZO6. It has modded suspension. Most suspension tuning is accomplished via the rear sway bar.

Well then, none of my advise applies

Running LG's G1 swaybars f and r with their coilovers and Toyo R888r's.

The horizontal leaf-springs caused all kinds of scary chit over any real bumps, expansion joints etc.
No issues at high speeds. Feels really planted. Also corner-weighted and aligned.
About ready to swap-out all the a-arm bushings for Borg Motorsports products.

I concur about the leafs. Do you think that it's more due to bump steer than just the design? I thought about getting a rear bump steer kit installed too.
