Default Guess who tested positive for the WuFlu?

That would be me. I went to a wedding in Vail this weekend, even though I REALLY didn't want to go. Felt sick yesterday, but tested negative. Still sick this morning, and my wife said by her employer's rules, I had to test again: positive. Wish me luck!

I felt sick and the home test was showing a negative. Went to Urgent Care the following day and go the PCR test and that showed positive.

Good Luck, it kicked my ass.

I could be feeling fine, test three times, and guarantee at least one test shows up positive. Those rapid home tests are a joke.

Wedding over the weekend = Sat. or Sun.
Monday you felt sick?

If you believe anything on the internet; CDC claims COVID incubation period is about 5 days, OMICRON has shortest at 3.

You caught what-ever you have from that disease infested sh1t hole you live in, and you drug it to Vail, and you became the catalyst of a super spreader.

Congrats ya stinkin' yankee....

I'm just wondering how the wife's company has any power to compel you to take a test? Did they pay you for that? Did you sign a contract with them?

Not what I read on the internet. I read 2 to 14 days for Omicron:

https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local...osure/2604593/

I tested before I left on Friday, and was negative. 3 days later on Monday, I was still negative. On the 4th day, I tested positive. There is no doubt that I could have been exposed on the plane Friday morning, so your hypothesis is wholly incorrect.

I'm sure they can't "compel" me, just like my old company could not "restrict" me from trading in shares of the company without permission. But you should know what can happen if you flip the bird to the "Company Policy", especially when they are paying for the tests.

Around here, let's say my wife got it, then my employer requires me to quarantine for 14 days and bring in a negative test from her and myself after the time is up

How does your employer require you to report to them about your wife's medical conditions? I believe that's illegal.

It's amazing what stupid crap people will submit to because of COVID.

Unless wife signed off her HIPAA rights to his employer far as i know that's an obvious violation of patient confidentiality.. Or maybe it's just me.

I hope companies start getting the shit sued out of them for some of the bullshit they've done.

Basic 14 day scenario if she gets it, odds are I could too. Even if I don't catch it, I have to stay away from work 14 days. Some were playing this game because it is paid time off.

After a few had a repeat bs performance, the 14 days was only allowed once a year Jan1-Dec 31. If you actually caught after taking 2 weeks during this time frame, then it was on your own time

Technically yes, but one simple question will suffice. Is she suitable to work as per covid policy? yes/no.

That question still pertains to his wife, who is not employed by the company he works for. Still asks for basic medical info. Still not a question I'd answer - ever. None of their business what my wife's medical condition is.

I understand the question. In general, I dont disagree, however courts ruled against it being a violation because of "public health emergency" way back when. I think people forgot it was a temporary measure, like it or not.

Just got off the call with the Doc, she is prescribing Paxlovid. It is supposed to be taken with food, so I will take the first dose with my dinner.

I had C in February, ivermectin kicked its ass in 3 days, although I had a lingering cough and minor congestion for a few weeks after that. I was never very sick.

I wouldn't take Paxlovid. A common side effect is to get Covid back, often worse, after it initially helps it. (but don't expect your doc to give you ivermectin).

The above happened to Dr. Fauci just recently after he took Paxlovid.

A coworker took Paxlovid. It helped her get over Covid, but it also gave her a horrible metallic taste in her mouth for the entire time she was taking it.
