As I noted elsewhere, by BMI standards, I'm overweight. But my doc said my weight is just fine. So take those standards with a grain of salt. You and your doc know your body best. My legs have no fat. My tummy??? Eh....

been stuck at 175-180 any given week and running ~25 miles a week now

Have two half-marathons in the next 4 weeks and several 5k as well....I know I eat some crappy food still, but with all this running you would think I should see more of a difference. Heck, even a 10 mile run does not phase me as far as being tired or sore, I feel like I should keep going to see the edge now. Neighbor tried to get me go run 20/mi with him Sunday afternoon but I had some cooking to do and try and catch up on Walking Dead again.

As long as I eat carbs my weight stays static. When I cut out carbs the weight drops off like crazy.

Ran 4 miles last night after 3 months off.

I'm paying the piper today.

I drink my coffee still before morning runs. There is no way I am going out of the house w/o my coffee.

Proper maco nutrients. Proteins are from chicken, steak, fish, eggs and protein powders.

Carbs, rice, sprouted grain breads, oats.

Fats, nut butter, olive oil and coconut oil.

Basically I don't eat anything that's processed and I stay away from pasta and traditional white breads. Out of 42 meals in a week I eat 'clean' for 40-41 of those meals. During Christmas I did enjoy myself and wasn't a social food troll.

Tomorrows marathon canceled. The free ways are all snow/ice covered and they cannot get them cleared by then.

Will just run a 5k and then add a few miles after that

Wow, I can't believe I haven't checked in since the middle of December! I enjoyed the last two weeks of the year and indulged in the holidays. I didn't gain anything, but I didn't lose either. I ended the competition with a total loss of 30 lbs. (12.88%). That put me in second place, cause the biggest dude on the list decided to go nuts the last two weeks, and ended at a loss of 13.37%. If I had lost just another 2 lbs, I would have won. Oh well . . . I figure in a way I did win, since I lost 30 lbs and save a bunch of money each month but not eating junk all the time.

I've continued to eat well, and am down an additional 7 lbs. Currently at 197.6 with a goal of 170 -180 I guess. I definitely need to get back on the elliptical, because I felt much better after the morning exercise. I'm just lazy, and have a hard time getting up early. I don't feel like doing it in the evening, because I don't feel like taking a second shower. I recently accepted a manager promotion, so the extra stress is really taking it's toll on my body. I think if I get that morning exercise in, it will help clear my head and loosen up the muscle tension/back aches.

every morning, after breakfast, it's time to walk the doggie. about a 20 min walk, about 3/4 mile i figure. at least two more walks during the day, including one late in the day.

park at the far end of the parking lot, walk to the front door. that will get you two free walks a day.

you don't have to run marathons, ride bikes for 20 miles, just get out and move around. have time at lunch? pack a sammich and apple and take a walk and munch. out 15 min, back 15 min. you won't be moving real fast, so you shouldn't get all stinky and sweaty.

do that for a month and look at your leg muscle tone. bet you will drop some fat from your legs.

^ Nice weather coming soon here on the East Coast, and there's a park a mile down the road from work. I'm looking forward to going there during lunch break.

Started Atkins Diet on Jan. 19 and have gone from 223 to 203. At 6'3, I can still lose another 15 but don't know if I have the willpower. I, also, do no exercise but should of course.
