When I was flying from Orlando to Wash DC EVERY week for 5 years shortly after 9-11 terrorist attacks and the lines were 45 minutes long (and longer sometimes) I was an early adopter of the CLEAR pass that got you through security faster. People in regular lines got irate that I could do that and I got some heat from other passengers. Like the people that fly once every 3-6 months and don't do it weekly for a job.

Nothing in CA surprises me, a state with rolling blackouts touting electric cars, and, the latest proposal, a fee for people fleeing the state who already have to sell their property for 1/2 of what it would have brought 3 years ago.

I used to fly regularly out of the country and always had my Global Entry card to quickly move me through customs. Now that I am retired and no longer have to fly, nothing could induce me to get on an airplane again. They'll strip search a grandmother with a walker but will gladly fly illegals to wherever they want to go and the illegals don't even have to show ID. **** them. When I retired a couple years ago, I spent 6 months volunteering at the airport here right at the head of the line to make sure all you yayhoos were in the right lines. Regular, TSA, Clear and Global used the same line. Pilots used the TSA line and branched off when they got to security,

Before they arrived to me, there were clearly marked signs for this. About 1/4 do not even read or ignore. I would catch most of them, but a regular supply of assholes would show up and I would just let them go and security will not let them through unless they get in the right line back the end all over again.

Some of you might have gone through this, If you're at home booking your flight, you must put in your name exactly as it is on your ID or Drivers License, if not, Security will send you all the way back to the ticket agent to re print it all over again so that your tickets and boarding pass name matches your license. If your legal name is Robert and you book yourself out of habit as Bob, probably won't happen

I saw this constantly. This was great volunteer work. These people or families would get split up and have to wait while the other goes back. Then come back all pissed off and now running late. Give me a fk you look as they pass by and get it the wrong line and be sent back to the end of the proper line.

As far as Clear, Global and TSA Precheck, sure Clear and Global sort of bypass but still end up at security and end up either in a long line of their own or mingle in at security and go through with every on else.

These three classes think they are saving time but not even close. Once they get through, especially families, they do the same dicking around as everyone else, going to the bathroom, the little stores, getting food and wandering around lost and most of the time, the average person going through the regular line arrives at the gate long before anyone with Clear, Global of PreCheck.

Timewise, they all end up at the gate and waiting on the plane just like everyone else.

There was one black guy. I came in one day about 5am. Walked passed the baggage claim and found a wallet. So, I took it and turned it in. On the way back to start my shift heading to security, I saw this guy coming towards my direction with a purpose from the opposite side of the secured glass doors.

This boy was panicking. He came through, I asked him what was up and he lost his wallet. He remembered taking it out around the baggage area so I walked back all the way over to security.

On the way back I asked how he got through security after losing his wallet. Well, with bags in tow, he stopped and pulled his ID out and set his wallet down, made a phone call and got distracted and left.

Once he made it through security and carrying all his crap, he stopped to get cup of coffee. He went to get some cash and put his ID back in his wallet and wasn't there.

No. "Equality" is everyone having the same opportunity. "Equity" is everyone having the same outcome. Socialism is based on "Equity", no matter how hard you work, or how smart you are, your outcome will be the same as the dumbass who sat on his ass his whole life.

I am totally fine with equality, as is most everyone who has any ambition in life. Equity will result in economic failure, as all incentive to work will be removed, and eventually everyone will stop working. The CLEAR charge was like $120/year; anybody, ANYBODY, that wanted one could certainly afford it ir they were able to buy plane tickets in the first place.
