Default [Official] BR III Hampton Inn Thread
As with past years, the Hampton has graciously agreed to host us for BR III. The official dates for the 2013 Barn Raising is May 23-25, 2013.

Michael has agreed on the rate of $94/night, which is the same as previous years. The rate will be extended in the days before and after the 'official' BR III dates, as Michael is aware that some if us get there early and stay late.

The difference between this year versus past years is that there will be no promotional code attached to our block of rooms.

To book your room, you can:
  1. Call and ask for the block. Make sure you let them know you are part of the Vette Barn 'Barn Raising' block of rooms. Verify the rate is $94/night.
  2. Book on line (you can get Hhonors points) and the Hampton staff will correct the rate at check in
  3. Book on line (you can get Hhonors points) and then immediately call the hotel to get the rate switched over, if you prefer not to wait until check in to have it changed.

As of right now, it looks like we might be planning a crawfish boil or some sort of dinner event for Saturday evening (this may change somewhat depending on how Dixie wants to put things together). You and your staff have always made us feel welcome over the years and provided us with a great place to stay at a great price. I'd like to extend an invitation to you and your desk staff to join us for dinner that evening as our way of saying thanks for all you've done for this group of misfits.
