Fire ant bites suck... I don't know about you but takes a couple of days then they start to itch/hurt then lasts several days.
We haven't had too many here yet although I have put Amdro down on a few mounds already.
I unfortunately got a tick buried in my back last week.... Luckily found it after a few hours and kid was around to get it out(dog tick).

My wife bought an industrial fire ant killer. Not sure that I want to apply it as the labeling precautions say that full protective clothing and face mask are required.
