Default How many nights have you stayed in a hotel in the past 12 months?
For me, it's been 152.

Started cutting back from 3 nights per week to 2 around the holidays. I may "finally" be able to cut the apron strings soon and only stay 1 night, every two weeks.

Eating out gets old sometimes.

It's definitely getting old. I like the new hotel I'm in at this very moment. Much closer to work and better accommodations. Then again, I have to think of the alternative.... unemployment.

about 15, trip west to scout for new home, trip back to move, and trip to see my parents at Christmas.

i used to be on the road 2-3 nites/ week for work, and you are correct, eating out after awhile gets real old and lonely...home cooking rocks.

About 60 between my expert witness gigs and my vacay in Europe. Back when I was earning a real living I averaged about 160-180 nights/yr...got old quick, even if they were 4- and 5-star hotels. I particularly enjoyed the Sofitels...French, which I can speak, wonderful service and good room service, good bars and enough points to comp most of a 3-week stay in Oz a few years ago.

The only hotel I had bed bug issues with was at the 2009 Bay Bottom Crawl down in the Keys. About 5 of us shared a hotel and I pulled the pullout duty. I itched and itched and itched all goddamn night long. It was horrible. Actually hard to believe the Travelodge that I stayed at for the first year didn't have them. It's a shithole too, but the price was right. I'm at the La Quinta now, and I like it VERY much.
