A friend of mine seems to enjoy losing tons of money on U-Bet, betting the ponies.
The guy owns a business, makes more money than God and he's always broke.

Betting on horses is legal pretty much anywhere. It's so old that it's bypassed a lot of the BS gambling laws. I think my dad uses U-Bet and and something else, I forget at the moment.

As a kid we went to Arlington Park up north all the time. They're fun to bet, but even better to watch run.

Another horror story.

My brother hit big on some stock trades when he first started day trading.
It was beginners luck.
He went from $30k to $250k to ZERO in a month....
If you don't have discipline to know when to fold 'em, you don't belong in the game.
Gambling eventually breaks everyone except the house.

btw... the tax man still got his.
