So basically another means to fleece taxpayers, pretty certain none of these shoppers will be required to pay for anything.

AND, more taxpayer money being spent facilitates the crooked pols wealth accumulation, which is the main reason for pursuing this.

And lastly, as per usual, mayor shitforbrains is not addressing the reason for the problem, as if he did so he would NOT BE a demoturd.

Yep, that's what's going on, and this is how they do it.

Under Communism there is no private property, businesses, etc., the state owns and runs everything. The food supply is always a shiny object for them.

They give the process a nice clean, non-specific term: "Nationalize," so as to not alarm anyone.

They will pick away here and there, regulating, threatening, owning and running the auto and energy industries and everything else at some point. At least that is the goal. I have no idea if they will reach it or not.

If you don't live in/near Chicago? -- no worries, Communism never spreads.

A-MAZING how much the prices drop compared to chain grocers for meats, veggies etc when your grocer cuts-out the middle-man purchases directly from local ranchers and farmers.

we normally have bread on tuesdays and fridays, milk on wednesdays only, grape drink thursdays and sundays, and chicken as available.
