I saw Aerosmith at the Tower theater, in like 76/78ish. It was so loud I couldn't hear for a week. Kept me from going to concerts for a few years but then i caved in and started up again.

I've never been to a single concert. Too poor as a kid and lived in a small town so never really knew or thought about concerts. Since then I've just never really felt the desire to go to any.

ONLY concert I have any memory of was at one of the large/popular Wash DC center for performing arts stages, large audience totally packed, Mom and I packed up in the bleachers.....

Dad was singing in the Russian Orthodox church choir on stage right behind Nicholi Gedda.....who was a famous/popular Russian Tenor at that time period....been over 1/2 a century by now.....

EVERY person of any Russian background attended, including Soviet Ambassador/crew.....

THAT is how RARE any performance with anything to do with commies was at that time period in history for America.....

I've seen a lot of bands live in my time. I think the loudest was Ted Nugent in Pittsburgh. One of my favorites was Pink Floyd in DC - had seats 4th row center. My ears rang for two days after that. Saw Z. Z. Top four times. Always a good show. Always had great seats for those. I think I'm done, however. Gotten to the point where I dislike crowds.

Last one I went to was a couple of years ago. Wife wanted to go see Garth Brooks at “The Swamp” @ Gainesville. Place was jam packed, noise level was insane. We were on the field about 30 rows back and the acoustics were terrible.
