I get a kick out of the free stuff on Kijiji (like CL). Today one guy's giving away a bunch of plastic fast food type cuttlery! ....and another guy is giving away a 40X20 inground pool, only problem it YOU have to take it out of the ground and take it away!
All kinds of junk on there, BUT....I made a hunert bucks already today!

pavers for second stoop all cut.

i use a water fed wet saw, so no dust, but plenty of water spray on my pants and hands, and a really nasty "goop" from the cutting. consists of water and very fine paver dust. they are pressed red concrete, so a reddish goop. sticks to everything.

letting things dry up, then this PM i'll mix up a small batch of thinset and secure the risers in place, let them cure overnight, and tomorrow AM secure the treads in place. and then i'm done with this project.

only quote we got was for $16,000+. when i'm done, it will have cost me about $1550. ammo money! and new pistol magazines (ordered some this morning).
