Default Congrats on the truck

Congrats, that's a fine looking truck. Personally I have a 07 extended cab and just sold a 97 extended cab with 210K on the odometer. That 97 never even had the valve covers off, only maint till the one timing chain tensioner just went bad which isn't bad for the age or mileage.

Yeah but you got short arms. It's not the height, it's the length

Almost had this truck a month- all fixed up... or at least I'm tired of spending money on it.

This thing had clear coat for days- buffed out pretty well:

decided to not do a junkyard chrome bumper and grill so I ordered a couple of cans of Eastwood rally wheel gray which is pretty close to the Ford Argent silver color.

It's a stick shift, bench seat, rubber floor, roll-up windows no-nonsense XL work truck. Did I mention it has AM and FM?

Here's the 302- all 199hp of it. It ain't breaking a damn thing on the drivetrain.

So I got...
-a junkyard class 3 tow hitch,
-new front brakes and wheel bearings
-a new radius arm bushing (air chiseling rivets off the frame really impressed the neighbors I'm sure),
-an ign tune-up,
-Serpentine idler pulley (it wasn't even broke- but my last ford had me towed over this $20 wheel),
-coolant flush, trans oil, eng oil, brake flush, power steering flush,
-Replaced a broken part on the air injection (because CA),
-$4.99 Costco windshield wipers
-Found a $20 rubber bedmat.
-Tax, Lic, and registration.
-A lot of freaking cleaning...
-door dings removed from passenger door (cheap neighborhood hook-up!)

Camper shell needs paint, but I'm not sure if I will keep it.

And it's a real pickup, not an extended cab, club cab, crew cab or whatever they call them now! You don't see to many of those anymore in my area.

My (late) truck. Ex-cab so my kid's seat would fit in the back.

Late because it was roached, I was going to do a half assed hillbilly patch job, until we found frame rust and recycled it. No real loss, only paid a few benjies for it.
