Default Do You Think I Made The Correct Decision??
As you may or may not know, my wife and I had bought a little white X-Trail for tooling around Mexico when we go. Well being a prairie boy, not knowing a lot about living on the ocean, we were experiencing a lot of rusting issues, brakes, exhaust and the blower fan from the moist salt air. Well being the brilliant one I am, I asked my father in law if we could store the car at his casa which is situated half way up a mountain and not subjected to the ocean breezes. Well yesterday morning, this is the text I got from Mexico.
"Hi Jim, where are the insurance documents for your car?"
Well, being the optimistic one, I thought maybe they got into a little fender bender taking it to my FIL's house. So I ask, why they needed the documents as I would rather pay it out of pocket than put a claim in. She texted back with "Are you sure?" and sent me the pic below

And if karma just wasn't good enough, my FIL had just filled in all the papers so that he could leave his Mazda in Mexico instead of having to take it back and forth to Texas every six months. Also just for shits and giggles and the last kick in the nuts for my FIL, was that, just two months ago, he had a brand new roof put on that car port

Look on the bright side. If it had happened back home, the tons of snow accumulated on the roof would have crushed them beyond recognition. That's if they ever found them. At least this way you might get something out of it.

Damn sorry Sweets.

I couldn't help noticing a twig on the roof of that carport that may have contributed to the collapse. Then I realized that it could be sabotage when I remembered that you do have a nemesis that likes to play with sticks. I dunno, just sounds kinda fishy.

Damn Sweets, and I thought the drug cartels would be the only problems you would have down there....Maybe you and Mrs Sweets should get a pair of motor scooters to run around on ... You could even store them in the house when your not there......Hope everything works out ok for you.......WW

Even if the insurance pays 100% the time we loose making claims, and all other BS involved is never recovered. At the end we always end up with a imaginary shaft inside, mad, frustrated, and financially in the negative.
