♫Notre Dame is done
Notre Dame is done
Their whole world's come undone
From posing as number one.
What did Alabama do?
What did they put you through?
They said when it was over
Alabama had run a train
But man, they had it comin' Now that Bama's climax is over
Domers ain't never gonna be the same.

Run away, run away from the pain yeah, yeah yeah yeah
Run away run away from the pain yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Run away, run away, run, run away yeah♫

As a Purdue grad from Cincinnati, all I have to say is:

F*ck Notre Dame and double f*ck Brian Kelly.
I knew ND didn't stand a chance after they barely beat Purdue. Danny Hope screwed up that team and almost beat ND.

No, ND is just that bad. Biggest joke of an undefeated regular season ever. Too bad the BCS and ESPN bought into it. They had a chance to put a real team in the NC game and blew it. ND could have played Northern Illinois to get their blowout loss and nobody would have been crying that ND was robbed of the chance at a championship. Now the world knows that Bama should have been playing Oregon.

The entire game following the blown interference/fumble/recovery call, was played in protest and should not count.

I just didnt want bama to win, again. much like I didnt want Jimmie johnson to win even once, very well 5 times in a ****ing row.

i used to like alabama, when they sucked...but when they bought a coach and started winning, suddenly there was a blossoming of fan boy band wagon tide fans that walked around all the time saying roll tide..or..actually "OLL TIIIIEEE" is more accurate. They are the single most annoying fanbase on the planet, even worse than those USC cocksuckers.

My thing is, hey...you meet someone you've known for 10-15 years, and never not once heard them mention alabama, now they have the hat, the shirt, the keychain, the license plate holder, the bumper sticker, the phone case...and start yelling OLL TIEEEE..OLLTIEEEEE. just admit that you didnt give a **** about them until they started winning, and you jumped on the bandwagon like a little hipster...

Whats sad is...if bama went 7-5 next year...and 6-6 the next year...Facebook would be utterly silent when Bama played, unlike a true fan, who is always there pulling for their team, through thick and thin.

This rant is not directed at the life long bama fans.

Personally, im a Michigan State fan, always been a fan of Sparty, even when we only won a few games. Ill always root for my team, even when they suck.

ND is one of our fiercest rival teams, and I despise them...but in this case, Given im immersed in a cesspool of Bama fans, I was willing to cheer on the Irish, in hopes that the Tide fans would get **** blocked at the goal line and denied another title.

Add to that, that in 99/00 nick Saban abandoned MSU after the regular season to coach at LSU...I thought that was a bitch move and he showed he had no class, then he pulled the same shit on LSU and dumped them to go to Miami, were he blew dicks and had no success. Ive hated Saban since he left us, and I violently, sharply oppose any team he coaches for...

Lots of comments before the game.
Lots of comments during the game.
Lots of comments after the game.

LOL like that would have been much better.

Last time we saw Oregon in SEC action LSU put up 40 on them last season. The same LSU team that put up NINE points against Alabama later that regular season and ZERO on Alabama in the championship game later that year.

The world knows that Bama won the national championship in Atlanta in December over Georgia.

I knew ND didn't stand a chance when they had to go to 3 OT's to beat Pitt. Pitt was then schooled by Ole Miss 38-17 in their bowl game.

If 7 NC's in a row doesn't make the statement that the SEC is the best conference, I don't know what does.

...and this is why people outside of the SEC get annoyed by SEC fans. Nowhere else on the planet to fans jump around rooting for an entire conference, including their rivals.

You aren't ever going to see an Ohio State fan cheer for Michigan. You will be hard pressed to find a Purdue grad or a USC grad rooting for ND. This isn't just in the college realm. How many Bears fans do you think will be rooting for the Packers this weekend? When hockey season starts there aren't going to be any Devils fans rooting for the Flyers.

On the other hand, in the SEC, there are apparently about 50 million Alabama fans right now. A couple of years ago there were 50 million Auburn fans (where'd they all go ). Before that, the entire south cheered for LSU. Somewhere not too far down the road I'm sure you'll all jump over to someone else. Let's face it. Annoying fans are... well... annoying no matter who they root for. The only thing that shuts them up is when their team is not doing well. If I didn't get a break from Ohio State fans on occasion I would probably start lobbing pipe bombs. The problem is that the annoying fans of SEC teams simply NEVER shut the **** up. If "their" team is bad, they just pick someone else. I have a pair of friends at work that I can't even keep up with what team they are calling "we" on a weekly basis. Of course today the conversation sounds something like "WE" kicked Notre Dame's ass despite the fact that they are both UK grads with absolutely zero ties to Alabama. The same people bashing A&M a couple of months ago now won't STFU about "Johnny Football". There was nonstop shit talk about how "we" (Florida) were going to destroy Louisville. The day after the game, there wasn't a mention of it and it was immediately on to "we" are going to kill Notre Dame.

I have no problem with the teams and schools of the SEC. It's a hell of a run that they are on, specifically Alabama, and it really doesn't look like it is slowing down. I'll give them all the credit in the World for it. The rest of the football World has a lot of work to do. With that said... how you guys can bandwagon from 1 team to the next is beyond me.
