Formula 1 Back in the day
I was watching the Las Vegas HP on the F1 app and it had the '81 race listed as the history of the race so I watched it.
There was a crash on Lap 3. Quite a bit different than today, unfortunately no before video. No worrying about how your going to get out of the car when its on fire. |

They were dropping like flies in 50s, 60s and 70s.
Many were burned alive in their crashed cars. Jackie Stewart opted out his last race at WG as some dood died in practice on Saturday. Senna constantly voiced concerns about safety, and felt no one listened to him. |

For those that actually watch F1, Vegas was the best race of the season. Slippery course, wide lanes, hard braking zones that requires balls to pass-pretty much everything that anyone that watches racing wants. I wanted to hate the Vegas spectacle until I watched the race. Fukkin fantastic.
