While I can simultaneously understand and NOT understand how this might have started (large apartment complexes can be a bit confusing to navigate at night), I can't understand that at the point it became obvious nothing was wrong in the apartment, nothing matched the purported call info, why they kept on terrorizing her. They completely searched her whole house, talk about invasive, then kept her cornered outside in the hallway, clothed only in a hastily put on coat.
Once you figured out it was a mistake, why do you need all those cops to stay there? Most did eventually leave, it looks like, but not immediately. She's terrified! Of you! Why was she still detained? Let her go back inside her apartment, and maybe have the lead guy stand outside at a distance, apologize briefly, and tell her the door will be fixed IMMEDIATELY, preferably by people she knows with the apartment complex.
The guy kept going on and on, didn't mention fixing her door, and wouldn't let her go back into her apartment, although at that time, she probably wouldn't have felt safe anywhere.
