Cup holder redux
Sneaks thread on his magnificent cup holder mod got me thinking. They make nifty switch plates that go in the ashtray and they make switch plates for the cup holder in the C6 but nothing for the cup holder on the C5 so I made my own. I wanted to make it out of aluminum and have it anodized black but try and buy aluminum plate in Suffolk on a Saturday... Anyway, I had some Lexan lying around and voila. I may still get some aluminum and do it over but I'll paint this one and see how it looks. Without further ado, on to the pics!
Template: Finished prototype: Mounted: In case you're wondering, the top switch is to arm the system and has a nifty blue led in it when on and the second switch is a momentary switch for the purge.

Steve, That looks like an excellent spot. The cupholder is useless without modification anyways,
