Mea Culpa...unfortunately I will be playing golf again tomorrow but I promise to stay home Friday and monitor CFOT for any bickering, squabbling or any other social discord.

All of you guys are pissing me off! No golf for me probably for another few weeks. Oh well, I will get some projects out of the way, so when the courses open I will play at will.

35 years ago today, April 8th 1985, The Grateful Dead played a concert at The Spectrum in Philly. I was a Junior in college at Lehigh in Bethlehem PA at the time, and literally dozens of the folks in my "social circle" got tickets to the show, so we descended en masse on the Spectrum that afternoon.

As was not uncommon at those kinds of events, there were several folks who, shall we say, overachieved at the pre-game portion of the evening. One young lass was a part of that group, and was reluctant to enter the venue, but then she gazed upon a young man who was not only the biggest and strongest badass in the group, but also had devastating rugged good looks, and asked him if he would escort her into the concert. Of course, he agreed. Once inside, she clung to his arm, and said dozens of times that night "just don't lose me".

Tonight, that young lass agreed that I am the World Champion at "don't lose me".
