Allen West A**holes himself

Allen West appeared last night on MSNBC’s Last Word with Larry O’Donnell where he was asked to apologize for saying that the believes true leadership means putting yourself in harms way to see the troops, even if you are a the President of the United States.

West would not retract his statement although he did add that no one would allow the President to be in danger.

West is (forced) retired Army.

He's staked his claim as a Tea Bagger probably as revenge for what govt. has done to him ... and it wasn't Obamas' govt.

He's seen an easy paycheck by mocking and bashing Obama and he will do well for himself ... the (R)'s/Tea Baggers platform for cutting Budget deficits (and they have now lied about that after getting sworn in yesterday) are in the form of discretionary spending ... for West, this means the military budget will be increased at the expense of entiltlement programs ... this means his Military pensions, healthcare and perks will be increased for himself and his family ...

Look for West to be less beligerent and more reich-wing political ... again, this is your moment ... and you may express these moments with fervancy ... I'll be listening but your party see's you as no more than a patsy for voting them in ...

Where is the link to the proof, did he to the max years or get passed over, or medical retirement? Being he was a Lt Col he did well for himself as an officer for our nation, he is a hero he served as a volutneer and now he is going to serve our country in another manner and that is hopefully to cut the defict spending.

There was an incident regarding interrogating a prisoner where he fired his pistol. He admitted wrongdoing, paid a 5K fine and was retired with full benefits. Details are on his Wikipedia page.

At least one suspect was arrested as a result of the information obtained through the detainee's information. The suspect's home was searched, but no plans for attacks or weapons were found. West testified he did not know if "any corroboration" of a plot was ever found. He added: "At the time I had to base my decision on the intelligence I received. It's possible that I was wrong about Mr. Hamoodi."[10]

West, who had completed almost 22 years of active service, was charged with violating articles 128 (assault) and 134 (general article) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He was processed through an Article 32 hearing in November 2003, where he admitted he was wrong to fire the pistol and was fined $5,000. LTC West accepted the judgement and retired with full benefits in the summer of 2004.[5]

He is a hero seems this did help with arresting a suspect and that suspect is off the list to kill American Soliders and trying to save a life of an American to me is much more important than the rights of an enemy prisoner and I would gladly kill my career to save just one American Solider from being injured or killed. He is a true patriot and put duty before promotion by killing his career
