Lets talk about Gerrymandering.

Florida is going through the redistricting process right now and legislators have openly admitted they are doing this to keep more republicans in office.

Since when has the needs of the party outweighed the needs of the nation. This looks to me to be deliberate voter suppression.

Miami has a twice as many registered Democrats as republicans, but all republican representatives simply because of how they chose to draw the districts.

I am aware that Democrats do the same thing. The question is since this is so obviously, blatantly wrong, how is this still legal? Why haven't we passed some kind of constitutional amendment to protect the voters?

We been hung with that black incompetent bitch, Corinne Brown for some 20 years now, I understand.....she has accomplished absolutely NOTHING in that time period....her district is gerrymandered from north Jax down south including Fleming Island, which seriously pisses off the residents there, to Palatka, then west to some section near Gainsville catching all black areas .....

now if they would just follow county lines and get over with it in a common sense solution, she wouldn't win a damn thing, and never would have....

It is a problem, but as long as people control the process there will be people taking advantage of it

Ventura county in Cali is exactly the opposite. Mostly Rep district, but the lines have been so gerrymandered that is the only way that the Dems stay in office.

They are totally incompetent in everything ELSE they do, why we could honestly expect them to do a good job on anything defies logic.

Another reason I left. No ones voice was being heard except her own.
