Exactly. What some people don't understand is this is not the dem party we grew up with.

It's been taken over by marxists/socialists. The old time dems are the new independents and Reagan dems who mainly vote pub or stay home.

In the long term (total of 4 years) the POS will again be community organizing.

If he can get hired.

And for that we give thanks.

Heck, I remember $0.19/gallon - but then I am older than dirt.

Gas prices stability have not been helped by BHO & the EPA, in fact the mandates (I.e., no Gulf Drilling Moratorium, cutting of Co2 for refineries, etc.) have contributed to the rise in prices.

Oh, there are those that will say it is really caused by the speculators, or (of course) the greedy oil companies. They would be wrong, provable wrong.

However, fuel prices have been all over the map for a simple, undeniable reason: failure for most in politics to actually understand there are (for the USA) resources that are being restricted from the 'free market play' since the early 1970's.

A great, well documented book on this is "Black Gold Stranglehold" (also available on Kindle).

I bet you now remember $4.35 a gallon.

I just drove past the station this morning (June 15th 2011) ... $3.75

Who do I blame for this reduction?

The fact is, those corrections are not made for what ever reason.
Sp are they just pulling our strings on the Gas Prices?

and expecting everyone to blame whoever is in the White House?

Then you do not know history.

You challenged me earlier in this thread to provide these types of poll results for Bush - which I did (and for the record he was way ahead of BHO at the same stage in his presidency).

The same link would allow you to take a look at presidents back to LBJ - take the opportunity and NOTE that no sitting president has won reelection when the approval, for the vast MAJORITY of their term is negative - as is BHO's.

I've also offered to cover any amount you desire to put up that BHO IS NOT reelected in Nov 2012 - and no one knows who will run against him. You have ignored that challenge - possibly even you know BHO is 'one and done' - he had better be or the next 'done' is the USA.

I'm not so sure that pubic barry is one and done. The Repubs seem to be really trying to toss a stiff in the mix. I kind of like PB's chances against Mittens. Like him or not, pubic barry is a serious campaigner, his devout followers are not swayed. I don't think his goose is quite cooked.

BHO is gone Nov 2012.

Logically the possibility does exist that the minions (dead gray matter between the ears, the 47% on some sort of welfare, the 40% of all US families that are on food stamps, etc.) could vote him in again.

However, some of that group will likely realize the gravy train of the Progressives has come to the end of the line.

When there are no people left to pay for the above then what they will ask. And it is coming. The US cannot continue to borrow, and if the Progressives ideals is all they need do is tax the rich to keep the Ponzi scheme going they failed basic math - taxing the rich at 100% will not pay three days worth of present spending.

Back to reality - Independents (like myself, although I did not and would not) carried BHO in 2008. Today (see other Rasmussen Reports) they have a 60+% NEGATIVE rating of BHO - these were part of the people that wanted 'Change' and got none from the administration. This percentage has remained basically the same since July 2009.

The Democrats and Republicans have basically an equal amount of 'die- hards' that can be counted on to vote for whomever the party provides. That percentage, combined, is less than 50% of ALL voters.

So, unless the Independents 'stay home' BHO is one and done. They will not do so as they are very much affected by the stupidity implemented by BHO, much of which has been of a nature that is 'against' this group. And they have learned the snake charmer is dangerous.
