When I opened my nautical themed restaurant I thought it would be cute to do something different on the washrooms signs. So on the men's room I put up BOUYS (boys) and the ladies was GULLS (girls)

I forgot the KISS principal and average IQ of some patrons. Confusion ensued! I eventually mounted little brass figurines of a girl sitting down and a boy standing up peeing to clarify it. Sheesh!
