Party Dips
Dig out the electric fondue pots that you got as wedding presents and put them to use.
I've been making these dips for years for parties. People love them. I know the Creamy Parmesan one doesn't sound like much, but you and your guests will be VERY surprised at how delicious it is. CREAMY PARMESAN FONDUE 1 1/2 cups milk 2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese 1 tsp. fresh pressed garlic 1 8 oz. wedge of Parmesan cheese, grated Cube cream cheese into blender, add garlic and milk. Blend till smooth. Pour into a non-stick pan. On medium heat, add grated Parmesan and stir continuously till cheese is melted. Transfer to fondue pot and serve. Bagel chunks and raw veggies as dippers are great. It can also be used as sauce over veggies. SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE FONDUE / DIP 1 14oz, can of artichoke hearts, finely chopped and drained 8oz. Pepper jack cheese (buy the best deli cheese) shredded 1 10oz. Pkg. Chopped spinach – cook, drain, and press in paper towels to remove all water dash black pepper 2 dashes of your favorite Hot Sauce 1 tbl. Knorrs Leek Soup Mix 1/2 pt. Heavy cream Put all items in a non-stick saucepan and heat till melted. Transfer to fondue pot and use the lowest heat setting. Scoop out with your favorite chips. |
