If democrats really wanted to reduce gun murder rates why not adopt laws similar to the two states with the lowest rates?

Vermont and Maine are more than 50% less than the USA average.

Yeah, 160 murders in Jacksonville last year, almost all blacks killed by blacks, most involved drugs or gangs. Clearly racist.

They will never stop trying and we can't prevent that. More than likely they will just have to learn the hard way why holding innocent people accountable for the actions of others is a really bad idea.

I wouldn't totally bet against a significant pushback if things go too far. I don't know what constitutes crossing the line, and we may not know until it happens. I don't even know if it will happen in my lifetime. But I don't know that we as a society are immune from Civil War II.
