Default So, I went to the gun show yesterday...
...and picked up a S&W Bodyguard. I had been wanting one for a while and was feeling really good about it, until I showed it to my son. He almost fell on the floor laughing at it.

my main point in making that remark is that if you are a new and inexperienced shooter, it will be hard to learn to shoot well with such a small gun. if you are experienced, then shooting a small gun should not be that hard to do well, as you have already learned on a fuller sized gun. but a small gun will have a big kick and will scare off new shooters and they will not practice enough and will not get better.

i don't know BB's proficiency with pistols, i assume she got one she can shoot well and safely.

The body guard is a cheaper plasticy gun, but if it's reliable and accurate why not? I would have pushed you towards the sig p380.

I went to dinner with a retired Army ranger (big dude) I mentioned I wish I'd bought the dog p380 instead of my khar which I was carrying, he laughed cause that's what he was carrying.
