PSA: During all this Covid crap, be sure to maintain good friendships. They are important and much better than sitting stuck in a house.

Totally agree on the need to maintain connections. Probably the main reason I checked out from CA as the only reason I stayed there and worked was for the friends I had. CV-19 and the policies killed that Glad to see people meeting up for a meal!

We can't be there for the 4th, as that's when we'll be racing in Bristol, TN, but I'm putting it on my calendar now to make the trip happen. Hell....I MIGHT even be towing my C8. Not sure my co-driver can take that kind of time off. If I have my C8 by then, it's GAME ON. We can play in the goat and the merc, and you can play in the C8.

Now that would be a major highlight. I'd love to get some road feel for the new mid engine setup.

Just discussed earlier with GWiz, and the current plan is for the two of us to trailer the C8 up to Bristol, TN, drop the truck and the trailer, she'll stay in Bristol for the week and work, and I'll drive the C8 up to PA to come visit. That gives me a co-driver who can tow, and then we can return home from Bristol after the racing. Will be a lot less stressful just driving the C8 up instead of towing the entire time, and wasting all of that gas.

I took exactly 1 day of my 3 weeks of vacation in 2020, which I don't get back. I plan on taking much more in 2021. Let's plan on making this work all the way around.
