Prime Pantry is no more

If anyone else used Amazon Prime Pantry... It has been dissolved.
It's a shame as I saved money using it and I sent food boxes to people in need.
I believe the pandemic caused them to shift away from it, alot of items were not available as soon as it hit. It went 4 plus months before they had much in stock.
It was a nice added perk to Prime I thought.

Well that works out OK, because you can't use Parler to tell the people their food boxes won't be coming anymore, because Amazon shut them down, too.

I'm not too keen on Amazon. I have purchased a few things from them in the past, and actually have a little money left with them from a gift card I got for Christmas (Xmas for the heathen @Jeff'79 ). I'll probably try and use that up as close as I can, then close the account.

I tried the pantry a few times, but never really liked it. Tried ordering laundry detergent and papertowels, they only sell the smaller packages, then with their minimum orders, it was jsut easier to do a local grocery pick up or delivery.

Amazon is like Google - they throw a bunch of shit at the wall to see what sticks. Stuff that doesn't falls to the floor, dries up, and blows away in the wind.

Never had luck with pantry products like soaps /towels.
They carried a few things had hard time getting here unless I drove 45 minutes plus before king flu they gave qty discounts, 5 got ya 5% off, 10 10%. So i saved some cash that way. Stocked up on spam, candy, cracker snacks using it.
