I have seen The Who several times. The first time in 1974 with Keith Moon still around. It was great seeing Pete on guitar, Keith, on drums John on bass and Roger singing. Their shows have a lot of energy.

The Who in '82 in Buffalo/ Orchard Park...
Best concert that I've ever seen. It misted/drizzled during love Reign On Me and stopped when the song ended. It was surreal and even blew the band away. No precipitation prior and none after... Even Mick Jagger commented on it at the Stones concert 9 months later. |

My wife lived in New York City years ago...She was in a small bar with a dozen or so people in it, along with Pete Townshend. He played a small acoustic solo set for the bar. How fuggin cool would that be?!
