Default New painting started
I whip this stuff out. I’m getting better at drawing the figures. Not so sure about those wings.

I did the background this morning. Then washed a dog (holy shit what a pig) took a nap, then sketched this out. Over the next week or two I’ll spend ten minutes here and there and eventually it will be done or I’ll paint over it. I’m thinking of keeping this one black and white.

Another pass (#3). Wiped out her face. Dang it. It looked good. Now I’m trying to get the balance between max black and max white while carving out shapes.

This one is harder than I thought.

Need to start trusting your instincts. I haven't seen a lot of your work but of those you have shared here it seems your first rendition often eclipses subsequent revisions. My "art" is expressed in automotive sheet metal and paint so we have different perspectives but when a line is "right" I try and stop effing with it and move on.

True. That version looks overworked. I did another pass.

I don’t have a lot of work. I just started painting. This is my fifth painting.

I’m really interested in getting bone structure right but not interested in realism. I tend to paint layers and layers. I don’t think I’ll use any color in this one. Not sure.

I tend to work on structure first, then body, then hands and face. What you see there is the underpinnings of facial structure. Faces and hands are friggin hard! I seem to have a special talent for boobies.
