Bunky- I must confess my current job doesn't require much patrolling. I will go out and ride around the Capitol grounds occasionally, but I'm not actively looking for crime.
And Arkansas weather- Well, last Wednesday, I woke up to 17 freakin' degrees. That's nearly Canadian weather. Then Sunday it was 86 degrees. That's why I am off sick today, and headed for a doctor's office, I have no doubt.

Sorry you're under the weather(pun intended), but that's a serious temperature swing!!!
I took some military training long ago in Ft Knox Kentucky and that winter was brutal.

It is 45 here in SD and feels almost like summer! Got the leaves off the lawn and filled in some badger holes at our golf course. Now it is Miller time! Time for a Vette ride tomorrow.

And totally off the subject- going to the doctor was GOOOD. I rarely take meds, and if I do, even the slightest hint of narcotics knocks me goofy. Dude- the medicine they gave me....probably wouldn't faze you bunch of hardcase 1960's survivors, but for me.....prrreeeettty colors.......

I'm almost looking forward to winter and a repeat trip...

I knew you'd ask.
I don't know. Two or three different pills of antibotics and the narcotic cough syrup which is the nastiest stuff ever brewed. It's the trip-me-out stuff. For me anyway. My wife has no effects from it whatsoever, but she takes medication more than I do.
FWIW, it has a Latin name.
I would say the only thing I've taken that gives me better trips is Vicoden/Percocet from when I hurt my shoulder. Wowser..

Percs are good shit
Most other meds always have an opposite effect on me...I get wired instead of drowsy.
That latin name...is it a little blue pill? Mycoxafloppin?
