I think I'll just sit and watch this one. I wouldn't want to get in the middle of this throwdown......It's not to often you see 2 guys argue over which car is better, a Miata or a Fiero.....WW

Obviously a Miata...better looking, and handles like it's on rails....Of course if the Fiero in question has a v8, handling becomes mute..

I propose a race between the miata and the fiero. Winner gets a PT Cruiser.

I'd have to borrow a miata.. And a PTCruiser sounds more like a prize for the loser.

I thought that's what we were saying owners of those cars were

Disclaimer: I like both cars, but when I looked at the first of the new miatas I said no way would I fit in it. And I've driven a Fiero, it's nice, just not a vette.

And the only person I know that wanted a PT Cruiser...is gay.

The miata is definatly designed by someone who is slight of build and short. Having ONE of those characteristics made it possible to own, but pleasurable must've been packaged with the "slight of build" characteristic, which I have not possessed since I was twelve.
Never drove a Fiero I must admit.
PtCruiser- my WIFE owned it....I objected every time I rode in it, and traded it for the Cadillac that stranded me last week and caused me to spend several grand on my wife a new Malibu..

My wife is still working in the school system so I let her pay for her own new Honda Accord. She's 7 years younger then me so she should be bringing in a paycheck for quite a while, "I hope"... For the money she paid for that stupid Accord I could have bought a real sweet C6.....WW

PS..Back in post #80 I said Mt Mckinley, when I actually meant Mt Rushmore...Im not stupid, I just got up to early today.......

Mine has an 03 Accord. 200+ thousand miles, been in 3 accidents (1 fairly bad). She's never been hurt, they just replace the panels and paint to match. I STILL can't stand the thing, but it works for her.
Says she wants a minivan next but I said no way, we only have one kid and I'm not playing taxi with one.
Me, I'm stuck in my youth. Just not interested in anything made past the early 90s, can't afford 60s muscle, so I look at the 70s and 80s stuff from when I had hair

OK, I just thought you were making fun of our highest mountain, Harney Peak at 7200 ft.

I know where you are coming from there. I still love to drive my 1990 Chevrolet K-Blazer Silverado. (125,000 miles & all original except the alternator which actually caught fire in the middle of no where 100 miles north of Alamagordo, NM - the tow truck driver was called out of a party on a Sunday night and we literally flew back to Alamagordo) (wife was glad we made out our wills on that trip) I take the back seat out of it, install a 3/4 size (Hollywood) mattress that fits between the wheel wells and use it as a mini-motorhome every summer. It has been from Acadia, Maine to Mt. Rainier.

Sorry, I should have known after reading old posts on this forum for the last couple of years. I got the Vette in November and haven't driven it much before I put it in its winter crib so the pictures are not so good. I hope to take better ones this spring and summer. But here goes:

(Because I forgot to do it!)
