Mike, that showed mucho restraint.

I picked up that too. I can't imagine a SBC never leaking for 28 yrs. LOL

The sun damage may actually be typical clear coat peeling....maybe????? He may not know the difference. 84-86 GM products had a pretty bad clear coat issue.

I don't know... There was a guy selling two vettes last year...a ZR-1 and a clean 84 with the 4+3 that had no cosmetic issues apparent in the pics and that was a phoenix car. If any place will scorch interior and paint, that would have been the car that would have shown it.

I think he wanted more than $10k for that car so it didn't sell. The ZR-1 did sell, but point being that always garaged is probably not true.

I was only pointing out the possibility of the clear coat peel. The urethane bumpers also tend to fade before the rest of the car, most times.

Las Vegas and Tucson too... I don't know how people keep cars nice in those places.
