Picked up a "new" ignition coil for my Olds engine
I happened to "stumble" across a nicer ignition coil for my Olds engine and had the winning bid. This one is also the same brand as my battery box
This one has the original label with instructions on it. These are the pictures from the ebay auction |

Cool. Is it close to being functional? What will need to be done to it?

If you mean the Olds engine I've been working on, the list is very short. ( in addition to finish cleaning up the paint ) Add fuel and make sure the fuel pump doesn't leak. ( I repacked the pump ) Connect fuel line and install cover ( one bolt ) Buy another 1/2" npt spark plug. Purchase old style cloth covered wire and wire up engine. Then it's ready for a short test run. Once we find out it actually runs, we'll hook up the exhaust to the outside piping and hook up the water cooling lines. |
