This past week was actually 1177 miles round trip. From our chateau in PA to Durham, NC. Plus cruising around down there - hotel to work, hotel to get food, etc.

I always look at other brands when I go out for something new and I always seem to end up in a GM.
In looking for a truck I went through them all and ended up with the GMC Denali (again) for my '15 dually over the Ram and F-350. All good trucks but in the end, I preferred the Denali. Considered an Expedition for the wife but the 5.4 just didn't cut it compared to the 6.2 Yukon Denali and the interior wasn't to either of our liking. My '99 Yukon is now well over 300k miles with it's current owner. My 01 Yukon Denali is still going strong with the new owner at over 220k. I sold it at over 210k. The only issue on either of those over a combined 10 years was a fuel pump on the '01. In short, I am brand loyal to an extent, but it's not just blind loyalty that I go to a Chev/GMC dealer and don't look at anything else. I'm open to any brand, but they have to give me a reason to move away from the vehicles that have been near flawless for me in the past. So far, they haven't. |

Not really. I've had Chevys, Pontiac, Buick, Caddy, Olds, Ford, Mercury, Volkswagen, Opel, Toyota, Infiniti, Nissan, Plymouth, Dodge, Honda, Mitsubishi, GMC, Jeep, Mazda, Kia, Acura, Chrysler and a few bikes. But no Mercedes, Lincoln, or BMW. The Vette I just bought was number 207.
