Default *PICS* Wood Floor Samples - Which one you like?

I'm trying to figure out which wood floors I want to purchase. As you can see, all my furniture is dark. Dark brown leather couch and chair. Black coffee table, entertainment stand, and end table. All three are roughly the same price.

Which one do you like? If none, would you go lighter/darker than 1,2 or 3?

#3. #3 and 1 gives a little contrast, 2 is too dark for the contents of the room.

What type of wood? What color are the walls? How much natural light gets into the room?

# One or # Three depending on how much contrast you want. If the room does not have a lot of light I would go with # one.

They are brown/beige. You can see them a bit in the second pic. The walls have been this color for 5 years. I'm not opposed to changing them.

It can get a lot of natural light. The south wall, which is to the right in the pictures, has two big windows and a door with a window. The thing is I keep it dark most of the time. I rarely open the blinds.

Get some Madagascar Ebony. I understand there may be some available at the Gibson factory.

Need lighter colors.

Go with pecan or maple. That room needs some contrast.

It's easy to tell, but I'm drawn to the darker colors. I painted all the trim in the house white, so in the hall and bedrooms the entry doors, closet doors, and baseboards will give some contrast.

In the living room, I could add a light colored area rug under the coffee table to give some contrast too.

I must be the only one who likes light coloured floors.
Not yellowish oak floors but I am partial to the maple and beech floors.

Out of what you have there I would probably go with #3.
Is this strip hardwood or laminate floor?

A lighter floor will show off the furniture more especially if you have a darker area rug there. To me the darker floors take away from the furniture.
It all depends on what you're trying to showcase.

Here are some shots in the hall with some temporary pieces of baseboard.

Engineered hardwood flooring. It'll be a glue-down application on the concrete.

My vote is #4 concrete with white paint splatter, very hobo sheek.

This is what I was thinking seeing the first set of pics.

In the second set of pics, #3 doesn't look bad at all compared to the walls/baseboard, but still may be too dark with your furniture.
