Whoohooo! Finally had the knee scoped! 3 holes in the medial meniscus. Sitting around a bunch this weekend.

Good luck with your recovery! I had that done many years ago; torn meniscus, piece removed. Felt pretty good when I went home, then later in the evening I REQUIRED the pain meds the doc prescribed.

Had it done on a Friday, & was back at work (desk job) on Monday, with no problems.

Keep it iced to reduce swelling. The less swelling, the less pain

Don't wait until you feel pain to take the pain meds, take them as soon as you can. It takes a lot longer for the pain meds to numb the pain once the local wears off than if you take them while the local is still in effect.
