Well, he CLAIMED to be a super-wealthy dude, but me and several other posters called him out numerous times for posting financial and investing nonsense. As a result, I always thought he was a total fake, but it is possible he inherited a lot of money, and had not yet lost it all to horrible investing strategies and bad decisions. One thing is for certain though, do NOT take financial/investment advice from that guy!

Yes, ptindall outed him trolling for underage hookers on Craigslist. Of all the things he lied about over the years, I couldn't believe that was the one thing he was telling the truth about, but it was.

Yes, people can change their name, but they can't change their opinions, interests, and history. I have even better evidence than this that LetItRide is $118k, long wrap sheet, super douche, red2012, but if I mention it in a thread, he complains to moderation. Chemdog banned me for a week and threatened to permaban me if I kept mentioing it, AKA posting the truth.

It is amazing what you come up with over a backyard mechanic that uses a stump. Carry on I see you don't have much to live for.

Per CHATGPT:

Using stumps as jack stands can be a practical and cost-effective way to elevate your vehicle for maintenance or repairs, especially in outdoor or rugged environments. However, it's important to exercise caution and follow proper safety procedures to ensure your safety. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use stumps as jack stands:

Note: It's crucial to remember that using stumps as jack stands may not provide the same level of stability and safety as purpose-built jack stands. If possible, it is recommended to use dedicated jack stands designed for automotive use.

Step 1: Select suitable stumps
Choose sturdy and stable stumps that are large enough to support the weight of your vehicle. Ideally, the stumps should be cut to a height that allows you to work comfortably underneath the vehicle. Look for stumps that have a relatively flat top surface to ensure better stability.

Step 2: Park on level ground
Ensure that you park your vehicle on a level surface to prevent any additional instability when using stumps as jack stands. This will help minimize the risk of the vehicle rolling or shifting unexpectedly.

Step 3: Engage the parking brake
Activate the parking brake on your vehicle to secure it in place and prevent any movement while it's lifted.

Step 4: Use a hydraulic jack
Before using the stumps, you'll need to lift your vehicle off the ground using a hydraulic jack. Locate the appropriate jacking points specified in your vehicle's manual, typically found near the wheels. Carefully position the jack and pump the handle to raise the vehicle to a suitable height.

Step 5: Place the stumps
Once your vehicle is lifted, position the stumps securely under the designated support points. The stumps should be placed directly under the vehicle's frame or chassis, providing stable support. Avoid placing the stumps on suspension components or other vulnerable parts of the vehicle.

Step 6: Lower the vehicle onto the stumps
Gently lower the vehicle onto the stumps by slowly releasing the hydraulic jack. Make sure the stumps are adequately supporting the weight of the vehicle before fully lowering it onto them.

Step 7: Test stability
Once the vehicle is resting on the stumps, give it a slight shake to ensure stability. If the vehicle wobbles or feels unstable, raise it again using the hydraulic jack and reposition the stumps for better support.

Step 8: Perform necessary maintenance or repairs
With the vehicle securely supported on the stumps, you can proceed with your desired maintenance or repair tasks. Always exercise caution and follow proper safety procedures when working underneath a lifted vehicle.

Step 9: Safely lower the vehicle
Once you have completed your work, use the hydraulic jack to raise the vehicle slightly, ensuring the stumps are no longer bearing the full weight. Carefully remove the stumps from under the vehicle.

Step 10: Lower the vehicle to the ground
Finally, lower your vehicle completely using the hydraulic jack until it's resting firmly on the ground. Remove the jack and ensure the parking brake is disengaged before driving your vehicle.

Remember, while using stumps as jack stands can be a temporary solution, it's advisable to invest in proper jack stands for long-term use. Always prioritize your safety and be cautious when working underneath a vehicle.

Stumps can be ****ing heavy. Maybe they mean little logs. And by little I mean 8-10" in diameter.
