I had it done in 2003. Left eye is still 20/15. Right eye has drifted some and I have a pair of glasses that corrects it, but I never wear them.
Best decision I ever made. I hated my contacts and glasses. |

Had it done over 30 years ago. Loved it. Monovision. About two years ago I had cataract surgery and it messed it up a little. I can still pass the drivers license test if need be without glasses.
thought about seeing about having lasik again even though the cataract surgeon says I can't ( I don't believe him). It is not really needed. |

Always too scared tp try it. My grandmother always said you only have one pair of eyes for life Now I am old why bother will just trade distance sight for reading sight, and still end up with glasses. Waste of money at this point.

My son had it done, but his eyes changed and he's back to wearing glasses. He had the procedure done while in the Navy a little over 10 years ago.
Me - I wear contacts. I've been wearing contacts for 25 years. At one point, my doc set me up with mono-vision due to the differences in each eye. That lasted for a long time, but just the last 4 years, I no longer have mono-vision and both eyes are now the same, so my contacts are now the same strength: -2.00. I'm nearsighted so I don't need reading glasses. I give my eyes a break from contacts usually on Sundays were I either wear my glasses or don't wear contacts, but if I drive I have to have my glasses on or wear my contacts. |
